Tim Zimmermann has been appointed as the managing director of Peugeot UK after having led its operations in China for 14 years as its General Manager. The career of the 47-year-old Englishman who was born in Reading began with Peugeot in Coventry in September 1986. He has had numerous positions in the UK and Europe such as Fleet, Leasing and Used Vehicle Director for Peugeot France, Marketing and Commercial Director of Banque PSA Finance and Managing Director of Peugeot Netherlands.

Zimmerman returns to the UK as Peugeot readies for the launch of the 3008 HYbrid4, the first diesel electric hybrid in the world. The 3008 has received numerous awards and has had plenty of success in the UK.

This latest version is the first of several diesel-electric vehicles from Peugeot that will offer a CO2 emission rating of only 95g/km and a fuel economy of up to 74mpg.
