Toyota’s new site is offering an innovative way for the carmaker’s vehicle owners to manage their own units. MyToyota -- which can be accessed at toyota.co.uk/mytoyota -- is described as a rational and simple-to-use online customer portal that offers vehicle owners a one-stop resource for keeping up-to-date with their vehicle’s history.
The online site also provides vehicle owners with automatic reminders for important dates like servicing and MoT testing, via text or email. MyToyota users can select their preferred Toyota Centre and gain faster and better access to Toyota’s online service booking system. MyToyota will recognise each vehicle through its registration number, and will thereby show its specification and its full service history.
MyToyota will also indicate which vehicle accessories are available if ever car owners decide to upgrade their units. All a Toyota vehicle owner should do is to sign up with MyToyota with no charges involved. New Toyota vehicle owners will be introduced to MyToyota when they purchase their units.
Existing owners can also use the site. For a consumer owning more than one Toyota, there is no need to worry since multiple vehicles can be registered to the same user account. Registered vehicle owners can avail of Toyota Rewards like regular offers and discounts as provided by partner businesses such as Virgin Holidays, Ticketmaster and Superbreak.
