You thought that the Bugatti Veyron and the Koenigsegg Agera have no rivals? You’d better think again as the new Trion Nemesis hypercar was revealed and looks ready to bite its rivals. This new beauty is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine that delivers almost 2,000 hp. As a result, it can zoom from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 2.8 seconds and has a top speed that exceeds 270 mph or 435 km/h.
As we said, the Trion Nemesis is a rival for the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, which carries an 8.0-liter W16 engine that generates 1,200 hp (882 kW) and a maximum torque of 1,500 Nm. The Veyron Super Sport achieved a top speed of 435 km/h or 270 mph. Meanwhile, the Agera One:1 is the latest addition from Koenigsegg and it is powered by a 5.0-liter aluminum-built V8 engine that develops 1,341 hp (986 kW) and 1,371 Nm of torque.
Using a seven-speed gearbox and an electronic differential the Koenigsegg Agera One:1 promises a top speed of 273 mph or 440 km/h. Moreover, the Agera One:1 has a 1:1 power-to-weight ration as it has a weight of just 1,341 kg. Trion Supercars has to make its car faster than the Koenigsegg Agera One:1. According to the company, the Nemesis features an aerodynamic shape that is “flawless from the front growl to the captivating tail configuration”.
What’s more interesting is that the Trion Nemesis offers its driver the Predator Mode, which modifies the height, suspension settings, exhaust noise and rev limit but also the interior lightning. The bad news is that the Nemesis is currently in earliest stages of development and the first prototype models will be built next month.
