Article by Christian Andrei, on August 29, 2010

The design of Vandenbrink 599/630 GTO garnered worldwide inspiring praise by car enthusiasts, collectors and press reviews. For instance, TopGear says of the design: "Ocular nirvana: arguably the best-looking car in the world." A totally restricted 5 copies of the Vandenbrink GTO's will ever be made and each will be totally different from the rest.

The GTO is intended to be constructed on the excellent chassis and drivetrain of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. In the vein of all original 250 GTOs were dissimilar in details and thus individually special, each Vandenbrink GTO will not be the same also. Completely new will be the aluminum coachwork; the A-pillars and front window will be the only obvious parts that will remain unchanged.

In cooperation with Race engineering expert Edo Competition Motorsport two versions are offered: the 599 GTO (5998 cc / 650 hp / 630 Nm); the high performance 630 GTO (6300 cc / 750 hp / 680 Nm). Everything else will undergo transformation, handcrafted in keeping with the classic practice in aluminum by Alwin Hietbrink.

Hietbrink known all over the world for his superb aluminum masterpieces in restoration and rebuilding ventures such as the 250 GT SWB, 250 Testa Rossa, 250 GT Drogo, 275 GTB, 365 GTB Daytona, 212 Vignale and the genuine Ferrari 250 GTO.

The interior/upholstery redesign option will be done by the Dutch craftsman Henk van Lith, also well-known all over the world by his specialization in the creating of high grade Italian interiors. They are unparalleled experts with Ferrari vehicles.

Because of this particular approach the GTO provides an amalgamation of automotive art, craftsmanship and high-tech platform and performance design. Since only 5 GTO's will be made, extraordinary exclusivity is ensured.

The astonishing value of the GTO is echoed here by its distinctive design and the development and manufacturing craftsmanship focused to a restricted number of only 5 vehicles, individually custom-made according to the whims and fancy of the customer.
