Video: Lexus LF-Gh Hybrid Concept looks even better when in motion

Article by Christian Andrei, on April 17, 2011

The new Lexus LF-Gh hybrid concept will have its official unveiling at the 2011 New York International Auto Show. Lexus, Toyota’s luxury division, wants consumers to get a glimpse of how the car looks when it is moving, previewing the appearance of future Lexus models.

This concept has a more aggressive design that has numerous cues from the LF-A supercar such as the body surfaces and even the shape of the tail lamps, headlights and front grille.

The concept study also previews the next generation of the GS, which is slated to arrive by 2012, judging from its configuration and exterior dimensions. The new hybrid sedan has a fierce look – the result of Unique LED headlamps and independent L-shaped LED daytime running lights.

Mark Templin, Lexus Division group vice president and general manager, said that customers have been eagerly awaiting a “bold concept” similar to what Lexus is planning. He added that Lexus wants to integrate some of these exciting designs into future Lexus vehicles.”

The interior wasn’t included in the recently released images but Lexus officials say that it was designed in response to the needs of customers who are particular about quality and details.
