The Volkswagen e-Golf has just took his police uniform and promises to haunt and catch bad guys silently! Set to make its world debut at the General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference in Leipzig on September 9, the new e-Golf is the first electric car that has been adapted for the police cars segment.

As you can see from the photos, the vehicle features the ‘SOSI’ signaling system, police decals and comes equipped with a modern digital radio. Just like the standard model, the police car carries the same electric motor that produces 115 hp (82 kW) and a maximum torque of 270 Nm.

With these numbers, it can sprint from 0 to 60 km/h (37 miles) and to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 10.4 seconds. The maximum range of the vehicle is between 130 km and 190 km (80 miles to 118 miles).

According to Volkswagen, the e-Golf needs 12.7 kWh to travel 100 km. So, bad guys beware! The e-Golf is coming and has enough power to get you!
