AutoExec magazine will be shut down by NADA

AutoExec LogoLoyal followers of AutoExec magazine are saddened by the news that the publication, which has been around since 1917, is folding says Autonews. Produced by the National Automobile Dealers Association, AutoExec has been significantly affected by a persistent slump in ad revenue, a change in readers‚Äô preferences, and the turmoil that‚ felt industry-wide. The issue that comes out by the end of October will be its last and will mostly be commemorative. Eventually, the magazine will be seen online but the people behind it have still to decide on matters such as publication frequency and content. NADA spokesman David Hyatt said that print publications have been suffering due to budget cuts and the recession. Additionally, he revealed that some of the magazine's staff will be laid off.
