2009 Seat Leon Cupra Facelift

For all of you who were waiting this, here it is: the 2009 version of the Seat Leon Cupra is here! As you can see the car shows a new silhouette consisting in a new front bumper with two further black highlights, one at each side, with the word CUPRA immediately visible on the left, a new prominent black moulding at the bottom of the rear bumper, a polished steel oval tailpipe and the characteristic model name in the centre of the hatch. The new sporty hatchback also shows a lower ground clearance compared to the standard version but also the awesome 18 inch alloy wheels and black encased door mirrors. Inside, we find the black cad elements which replace the usual light tones found on other models, a leather steering wheel with aluminium color inserts and Cupra logo, as well as a matching gearknob and aluminium pedals.

The new sport buckets offer tremendous side support when dealing with corners and driving comfort. Under the hood we find the same 2.0-liter TFSI engine, found on the previous version, capable to generate 240 hp. The vehicle can hit 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds while the top speed is limited at 247 km/h. According to the manufacturer, the average combined fuel consumption is listed at 8.3 litres for every 100 km. Also, the new Seat Leon Cupra comes with new standard equipment such as: “XDS system, ABS and TCS, ESP with EBA emergency braking, low tyre pressure warning, driver and passenger airbag, side airbag and head airbag, climate control, cornering foglights, trip computer, cruise control, sports suspension and CD radio + MP3 + 8 speakers + Aux-in, among others.
