Halloween Horror

Vehicle information expert HPI has released warnings for used car buyers to not get duped by crooked used car sellers this Halloween. HPI is offering a 25% discount off its check up service until Nov. 30, 2012. To enter the purchase details, consumers would only have to use promotional code SCARE25. Of the more than 10 million checks that HPI conducted in 2011, 1 in 3 used cars had something hidden that buyers need to be worried about. Buyers have to be shrewd when having to buy a used car. One of the tricks that these crooks use includes ‘cloning’ to conceal the identity of a stolen vehicle with that of a legitimate car. HPI detects over 28 stolen vehicles each day via the checks that it does. The HPI Check will determine whether a car was stolen, protecting the buyer and his or her money. With the HPI Guarantee, consumers could avoid being victims of car cloning. Many buyers may be duped by a low price and some shiny paint but sellers will do whatever it takes to make a profit such as hide the damages that the car has previously taken. HPI ensures that it doesn’t have a hidden agenda when disclosing the vehicle’s story since it is a known independent source of vehicle information. From the HPI Check, buyers would know if the vehicle has been declared as a write-off or as an insurance total loss, enabling them to make an informed decision.
