In contrast to the predictions of industry analysts where some are saying that foreseeable auto market recovery will be experienced either in 2011 or 2012, Bentley is assured that its customer base will be ready to purchase their products as early as 2010. The car maker is so sure about its forecast that it's boosting its launch dates for future product cycle by half a year which means that the famous Bentley Continental GT may be replaces as early as next year. Seeing a recovery in 2010, there's no problem with Bentley's going ahead with production. The carmaker is taking advantage of the recovery and getting through the crisis is when the new models will compensate everything that went into it.
Although the next generation Bentley Continental GT coupe is most probably going to arrive next year, the Continental Flying Spur 4-door sedan will be hot on its heels, together with the obligatory GTC convertible version.
The replacement of the Arnage dubbed Kimberly will also be due next year, and is expected to introduce a new super-luxury version near the end of 2010. The carmaker intends to put a great deal of importance on rising markets like China, the Middle-East and Russia, together with returning customers from formerly important markets like the US. Sales for the Bentley fell almost one-third in the US last year. What's worse, in the first quarter of this year sales fell by more than two-thirds in contrast to the same period in the preceding year, not a very good yardstick for a 2010 recovery forecast.
