Although it is suffering from significantly reduced sales along with other luxury car manufacturers, Bentley has made information available that it is making a considerable investment to provide its whole fleet with biofuel capabilities. This new shift in strategy will come in finished form as early as this coming March during the Geneva Auto Show. This shift is intended to address both fuel economy and CO2 emissions issues. In a separate pronouncement in Detroit, Bentley made it clearer that prior to 2012 they will have a full range of vehicles that will be able to use bioenthanol. Already work is progressing on flex-fuel technology which will see deliveries as early as this year.
