A range of Original BMW Accessories for the new 3 Series Sedan will be launched at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show. For the exterior, the options include a set of one-of-a-kind 20 inch wheels and a fitted indoor/outdoor car cover. In keeping with the new Sport, Modern or Luxury Lines, the new 3 Series Sedan interior may be customized with items like the high-quality all weather floor mats, color-matched emergency brake handle, key fobs, rear storage and backrest bags. Any authorized BMW center offers and installs these Original BMW Accessories.
A lockable roof box and a snowboard holder are perfect for those going on longer trips. In addition, the Geneva show marks the premiere of the new accessory division for BMW vehicles: BMW M Performance Parts. The BMW M Performance Parts are the products of a close partnership with BMW M GmbH.
These include powertrain, suspension, aerodynamics and cockpit components that offer a significant increase in driving dynamics by improving engine power, cutting weight and optimizing aerodynamic properties. The initial BMW M Performance products were specially developed for the BMW 5 Series Sedan, the new BMW 3 Series Sedan and the new 1 Series (5-door model). These products include black kidney grills, M Performance exhaust systems, carbon fiber front splitters and an M Performance steering. The BMW M Performance Parts will start to come out in the U.S. starting this summer.
