The new online shop of BMW Classic Parts Supply was launched on Feb. 1, enabling customers to order spare parts for their BMW classics faster, easier, and right from their homes. Ralf Vierlein, the Head of Sales and Aftersales at BMW Group Classic, said that this online shop stands for the “next phase in the realignment of the business field and a further logical step towards customer satisfaction and customer-oriented service.”
Customers can search for spare parts for their classic vehicles and order them online at http://shop.bmw-classic.de. This site also offers information on what parts are suitable for the different model ranges. Customers in Germany could already take advantage of the service but other markets in Europe could start to benefit from this service in April 2012. The new online shop offers a wide range of parts totaling to about 35,000 items for classic BMW cars and motorcycles that are as old as 1960 to about 1990.
This range doesn’t have big, heavy spare parts, dangerous goods and materials, electronic components and yard goods. Having the online Parts Shop will make it far easier to search for spare parts. It will also help with the replacement process. When a part is bought, a BMW partner is instantly recommended to provide technical support for the restoration of the classic vehicle. The BMW Classic Parts Supply online shop is set to be presented on Feb. 3-5 at the Bremen Exhibition Centre on the Bremen Classic Motorshow. If you want to get access to the online shop, just visit the BMW Classic website at http://www.bmw-classic.de and www.bmw-classic.com.
