2011 Bmw X5 Facelift

Automakers are now giving consumers incentives on new cars. In a plan that emulates the government's 'cash for clunker' programs, Chrysler has launched its own 'Double CA$H for Your Old Car' scheme. BMW also has an incentive program for two of its diesel models. Consumers are given a $4,500 'Eco Credit' to purchase a new 335d or an X5 xDrive35d model. BMW calls this as an award for American drivers who choose fuel-efficient cars. Or it could simply be because sales of luxury diesel cars in the US have been less than stellar. BMW added that bringing down the price of its two diesel vehicles further are tax credits of up to $1,800.
