Bmw considering adding four-cylinders engines to the 5-Series GT
Earlier today we reported that the 5-Series GT will not receive an M-version, a news that will make many of the Bmw fans sad. Still, we have some good news regarding the 5-Series GT: Bmw is considering adding four-cylinders engines in order to make the car more affordable.
According to our sources, the twin-turbo diesel will be the first engine to be introduced on the 5-Series GT and then a cheaper four-cylinder could arrive, the one used on the 320d. “We are looking at the twin-turbo diesel and are likely to see that soon, nothing is confirmed yet but a four-cylinder diesel is also being looked into.” said the car’s product manager, Michelle Roberts.
