Bmw cutting production

It was announced by BMW just recently that they will be cutting down production in Germany by 80,000 units in the first five months of 2009. Although the carmaker has not yet finalized where the cuts will be made, it will certainly be in their factories in Berlin, Landshut or Munich.This move was due to falling sales in the first two months that reached about 25 percent. It is expected by the company that sales this month will fall by a record two-digit year-on-year. Last week, BMW made a public statement saying that their profits fell by 90 percent last year.
