Bmw global unit sales grow by a high single-digit percentage in November

BMW AG's global unit sales are expected to increase in December after having had a high single-digit percentage rise in November, according to CEO Norbert Reithofer. The world's biggest premium carmaker said that the improvement in unit sales shows a slim rise in demand for luxury vehicles. It can be recalled that near the height of the credit crisis in September 2008, unusually low unit sales were recorded. Reithofer said he expected full year unit sales for BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce vehicles to drop by 10%-15% compared with 2008, when only 1.44 million cars were sold.
