Bmw reveals M Power application for iPhone

BMW M Iphone Application
At no charge, you can measure your car's performance using your iPhone or iPod Touch. You can now download BMW's new M Power application, which provides some performance telemetry at no charge. While there are certainly other applications that harness the built-in accelerometers in both the iPhone and iPod Touch to record speed, g-forces, and acceleration times, most cost at least $10 in Apple's Application Store. BMW's M Power is the first free version to be widely offered and it has a gorgeous interface. After downloading the application, you simply affix the phone to the car. Mounting to the windshield is acceptable. Then select what parameter should be measured. Simply hit the start button, and go. Don't expect the application to be 100% accurate though.
