Bmw searching a new partner for hybrid batteries

Yes, it is true! Bmw, the Bavarian car manufacturer is currently searching for a technology partner in order to build its hybrid car batteries. This came from Mr. Klaus Draeger, company's head of Reseach and Development. "We are studying the battery market to see where to get the best cell technology for our mega city vehicle," said Draeger at a press conference. The company is currently ecamining products of the Korean suppliers like LG Chem, and we are talking to Japanese suppliers as well as U.S.-based suppliers like A123 Systems Inc. and its decision will be made within a year.
