The Bmw X5 has been going through an endless journey of success for 10 years in a row with unequalled active performance on the road and superb traction off the road. The X5 was began in 1999, therefore creating the segment of SAV or Sports Activity Vehicle. The world premiere signaled a success story previously unheard of with the sale of 845,000 of the X5 within ten years. There are currently three variants to choose from with a fourth almost ready to join the production lines. In creating a segment, the X5 became not only a major inspiration for a whole competitive arena of AWD vehicles but also the very benchmark for safety, driving dynamics, premium quality, versatility and efficiency.
