Australian sports car maker Bolwell lately introduced the latest model of its Nagari coupe and has now established that it will go into limited production early next year with a sticker price of about AUD$198,000 (approximately $132,580). Created as a contemporary interpretation of Bolwell‚ 1970s model, which goes by the same name, the new Nagari dumps the stripped-out racer appearance of the original and in its place adopts a lavish grand tourer theme. Before there was the possibility that two powertrain choices would be accessible, either a 3.5-liter Toyota V6 generating 295 hp (220 kW) or a more powerful supercharged variant of the same engine with 375 hp (280 kW) on tap, however it has now been relayed that there will be no supercharged engine at present. A dual wishbone suspension configuration can be found at the front and rear, and stopping power will come from 355mm vented and slotted discs - comparatively average by supercar standards but keep in mind that the Bolwell weighs lesser than a ton. The whole car will weigh just 920 kilograms because of its advanced composite chassis and bodyshell, weighing in at just 36 kilograms and 62 kilograms each, respectively. It will still highlight many luxury parts such as a leather interior, a Polaris GPS radio with satnav system, as well as a camera for going in reverse. Other standard properties include 19 inch alloy wheels, ABS brakes, a sports exhaust system, Recaro seats, a Momo steering wheel with carbon-fiber paddle shifters, remote central locking, cruise control, air conditioning, electric windows and a first-rate audio system.
