Brabus 800 E V12 Cabriolet

Details and images of the Brabus E V12 Cabriolet, the latest project of the aftermarket specialist, have been released. This car is built to order and has a price tag of EUR478,000, which is steep but the customer will be getting the most powerful and fastest four-seater cabriolet. This project is based on the open-top version of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and it comes with the Brabus 800 V12 Biturbo twelve-cylinder high-capacity engine, partnered with a five-speed automatic transmission.

It was fitted with a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with four tailpipes that was specifically built for the E-Class Cabriolet. The unit has an output of 800hp and 1,420 Nm (1,047 lb-ft) of torque that’s limited electronically to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft). With these specs, the car can accelerate from zero to 60mph in just 3.7 seconds. It gets to a speed of 200 km/h (124 mph) after 9.9 seconds and it hits 300 km/h (186 mph) after 23.9 seconds.

Depending on the final-drive ratio, the BRABUS 800 E V12 Cabriolet could reach a maximum speed of 370 km/h (231 mph). Among the major styling modifications are a new front apron with LED daytime running lights, a wider body kit (consisting of new front sport fenders and special carbon-fiber rear fender flares) that accommodate the 19-inch wheels that are covered with high-performance tires from Continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA. The suspension and brakes also received upgrades.
