Brabus is now offering the ultra-exclusive Tesla Roadster Sport Green Package. The German tuner and manufacturer has turned its attention to the electric sportscar instead of petrol-burning performance cars. In fact, Brabus was the first to offer customization of the Tesla Roadster. The package features a quick charging station for the customer’s garage, 30,000 kilometers (18,641 miles) worth of eco-electricity with which to run it and a one-year unlimited-use pass at all public RWE charging stations. For now, the vehicle is only being offered in Germany and there are currently no plans to expand to other countries.
Brabus chose an approach that’s different from their standard one as it has noticed that what customers require is faster charging and not only an improved performance from their EV. The RWE-Brabus quick charging station charges the open-top roadster in less than six hours, providing an operating range of 350 km (220 miles). The appearance of the electric sportscar was also changed by refining the front fascia with a particularly light carbon-fiber front lip and LED daytime running lights incorporated into the front grille.
At the sides of the car, there are underfloor ‘Space Lights,’ which are activated with the keyless fob or by opening a door. At the rear, the BRABUS rear wing and the Brabus rear diffuser can be seen. These are both made from lightweight high-strength carbon fiber and its round taillights are made more obvious with color-coordinated applications.
