Brabus unveils yet another tuning program that is bound to make jaws drop. The one-off Brabus Vanish was a raging success but now, the tuning firm reveals the Brabus Stealth 65, another car based on the limited-edition Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series. The Stealth offers 3.8% more horsepower than the Vanish. The Stealth has a 6.0-liter AMG V12 biturbo engine that has been re-engineered to deliver 820 PS (603 kW / 809 bhp), providing up to 1420 Nm (1047 lb-ft) of torque.
Meanwhile, the Vanish has an output of a little less at 800 PS (588 kW / 789 bhp) but matches torque. By comparison, the AMG-produced SL 65 BS gives 670 PS (493 kW / 661 bhp), and up to 1000 Nm.
The latest highly tuned car uses the Brabus T65 RS tuning kit, including four intercoolers and redesigned turbocharger turbines. The car also gets a high performance exhaust and a remapped ECU. At strategic points around the car, we see Brabus and Stealth badging, such as the performance brake calipers, and the gauges. Coincidentally, the buyers of the Vanish and the Stealth live in the same neighborhood in Dubai.
