According to the latest reports from Autocar, it appears that Jaguar is seriously considering a crossover SUV. These words came from new boss Adrian Hallmark, who said that the company needs to stop being considered a saloon-based firm. Furthermore, Hallmark also added that Jaguar will also introduce four-wheel-drive saloons in order to boost its appeal on the east coast of the United States but also in some parts of Europe. Moreover, Hallmark confirmed the fact that an estate version of the XF saloon was imminent, and that the wagon will account for a fifth of the model’s sales. This means that the SUV market will have some tough competitors, such as the Porsche Cayenne, Range Rover Sport but also the upcoming Maserati SUVs, which was announced few weeks ago.
