Breaking news: Dealers to purchase stake in Opel

Dealers of both Opel and Vauxhall are contemplating of purchasing a stake in the GM-owned brands. The intention, which was announced by the European Opel Dealers Association (Euroda) would require all Opel and Vauxhall dealers to chip in 150 Euros from each car they sell in the succeeding three years. The underlying goal here is to show support for the German government (from which Opel and Vauxhall requested a financial aid amounting to 3.3 billion Euros) and also to customers all over the European region. The plan will be finalized through voting on May 15, the next meeting of Euroda.
