Breitling and Bentley have developed a limited edition chronograph, combining Swiss tradition and British chic. To create this chronograph, they took inspiration from the world ice speed record set by Finland’s four-time world rally champion Juha Kankkunen. Bentley’s most potent and radically-styled convertible ever -- the 202mph (325km/h) Supersports "Ice Speed Record" convertible -- is a celebration of this world-breaking record in a Bentley Continental Supersports convertible. There will only be 100 ISR Supersports convertibles to be produced.
The Supersports Ice Speed Record commemorative timepiece takes inspiration from this convertible model and is the perfect personification of the shared passion of the two companies for performance and prestige. This combination of striking aesthetics and handcrafted technology is also limited to just 100 units.
It is only available without charge to those who purchase the vehicle. Kankkunen achieved a speed of 205.48 mph (330.695 km/h) while driving the all-wheel drive, biofuel-powered 6-litre, 12-cylinder Continental Supersports convertible on the frozen Baltic Sea off the coast of Finland. This is better than his ice speed record of 199.83 mph (321.6 km/h) set in 2007 in the Continental GT. The watch also has features that share various design cues found on the limited edition extreme Bentley. Among these features are the carbon fiber presentation box, the classically knurled finish on the control buttons, the carbon-fiber fascia with dashboard-style dial and the distinctive red detailing -- combined together to produce an original, one-of-a-kind timepiece.
