Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport China

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, which comes completely in black visible carbon, makes its debut in Shanghai. The model is inspired from the classic Veyron 16.4, but only 146 kW (200 PS) more powerful with its 882 kW (1,200 PS) output. Last year, Pierre-Henri Raphanel, a Bugatti driver, achieved a record of 431 km/h on the production version of the model on the Volkswagen test track in Ehra Lessien. It gained entry into the Guinness Book of Records as a new international speed record for production vehicles on the test track.

To protect the tires, the production version is electronically limited to 415 km/h. Four enlarged turbochargers and intercoolers have made possible the 7,993 cm3 capacity 16-cylinder engine. For safety in handling the extreme dynamism of the vehicle, extensive revamp was made on the chassis. Having a maximum lateral acceleration of 1.4 g, the improved interaction between the intelligent all-wheel drive system and the tyres allow perfect handling.

Also, all powertrain components were reinforced comprehensively to increase the maximum acceleration to 1,500 Nm safely to all four drive wheels. On the more aesthetic side, the detailed, anodized and polished aluminum of the vehicle gave an excellent contrast as the outer portions of the alloy whees and the EB logos on wheel caps, rear lid and fuel filler cap. The black visible carbon sets a defining theme in the interiors, covering the inset in the central console as well as the doors. The rest of the parts are in highly exclusive "Snow Beige" leather. On another note, the Super Sport showcased in Shanghai has already been sold to a client in China.
