Bugatti delivers the last Veyron supercar to European customer

Bugatti Veyron

A European customer has ordered the last Bugatti Veyron, which has an exclusive limited run of only 300 models. The classic Bugattis are now considered collector's items and are known as some of the most valuable cars that ever existed. Meanwhile, the coupé versions of the Veyron are definitely seen as worthy successors. However, the reign of Bugatti's sports car doesn’t end here. The Grand Sport, a supercar that has the utmost technical specifications, is still available.

The closed top version, which has a transparent roof, has a top speed of 407 km/h. Without the roof, it gets a maximum speed of 360 km/h, easily earning it the title as the fastest convertible in the world. According to Wolfgang Dürheimer, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., the Veyron is an “icon of automotive history” but even so, it’s still far ahead of its time when it comes to technology and design. He also commented that in the open-top sports car segment, the Grand Sport stands as a “further pinnacle of achievement.”

"In the Veyron the Bugatti team has created a vehicle that has already become an icon of automotive history. Both technologically and in terms of design, the Veyron is still far ahead of its time. The Grand Sport is a further pinnacle of achievement in the open-top sports car segment, and we intend to maintain the same standard in our future Bugatti products." said the press release.
