Bugatti preparing to replace its Veyron in September

2009 is a significant year for Bugatti. There are two reasons for this: first, this year is the company's centenary and, second, this coming September the Bugatti management will unveil the company's future plans which will include a brand new model. September was chosen to do these because this is the month the company was started 100 years ago by Ettore Bugatti. To begin the occasion Bugatti will be introducing its latest special edition Bleu Centenaire Veyron, which was shown first at the recently concluded Geneva Motor Show.
It was further revealed that there are several models currently being developed and none will be cheaper than the last Bugatti Veyron. Company spokesperson says that the next Bugatti will be as extreme and just as unique as the previous one.
Concerning the introduction of a super Veyron, the spokesperson said that if anyone makes a car that can remove the Veyron from its current position at the top, Bugatti is ready to meet the challenge. The company has confirmed that more special editions are upcoming derived from the top-down Grand Sport and the Veyron.
