The new Rafale special edition of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, its newest special edition version, was unveiled at the Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil. This is based on the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, the open-top variant of the fastest car in the world that generates 1184bhp from its powerful quad-turbo W16. The Rafale could be distinguishable from the standard Vitesse models with its stunning ‘Gris Rafale’ paint finish and blue carbonfibre trim. Another feature that makes it stand out is its bespoke alloy wheel design. The Rafale’s interior got a makeover. It has special blue leather seats with grey stitching and blue carbonfibre trim to match the interior. Orders can now be taken for the company for this new model, which is priced at 1.9 million Euros, whereas the base price of the Vitesse lays at 1.69 million Euros (without tax and transportation). “After we had successfully developed the Super Sport out of the Veyron, we of course considered to do the same with the Grand Sport,” says Dr. Wolfgang Schreiber. The new President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. continues: “The result is a unique vehicle onto which we managed to transfer the dynamic alterations from the Super Sport. They convey with the roof off and on as a breath- taking driving experience.”
