Buick Hybrid Crossover teased ahead of its debut

GM is developing a new version of the Buick brand, the Buick Hybrid Crossover and has revealed recently a teaser shoot of the new vehicle which will show off officially in 2011. The new non hybrid version will be already released on the market by the end of the year with two possible powertrains available, an Ecotec 2.4L direct-injected 4-cylinder engine or a 3.0L direct-injected V6 unit.
The Hybrid version will feature a powertrain containing a direct-injected 3.6-liter V6 flex-fuel engine, two electric motors, electronic controls and battery management systems.
The new Hybrid model will be launched next year and will feature an in-house produced system, the 2-Mode Hybrid system with advanced lithium-ion battery cells and Voltec charging technology.
