5 YouTube Celebrities We Envy for Their Extraordinary Car Collections

Article by Christian A., on May 17, 2016

Most of us are aware of the fact that you can make money from YouTube. It is unlike any regular eight-to-five shift but it can be full-time nonetheless. It is one way of making money especially when you can produce great content that will make you stand out above the rest.

It is a good paying job, actually – good enough for some to be able to indulge in extravagance like cars. And there are also those who were born with a silver spoon in their mouth and are capable of buying and flaunting their collection of vehicles.

Here’s a list of our favourite car collections owned by YouTube celebrities.

Alejandro Salomon - Salomondrin

First on our list is film producer and YouTube celebrity Alejandro Salomon. Alejandro is the proud owner of one of the best YouTube car channels, the Salomondrin. He has a vast collection of cars which includes two Rolls-Royces, a Viper ACR, a 911 GT3 RS 4.0 and a Weissach-packaged 918 Spyder.

However, his most prized possession is a Smart which he uses for short trips in LA. This guy buys what his heart desires and most of the time, picks the coolest ones.

Aleem Iqbal - Lord Aleem

One YouTube celebrity with a love-hate relationship with his viewers is Aleem Iqbal, popularly known as Lord Aleem. He is the son of one of the founders of an exotic car rental company in Birmingham called Platinum Executive Travel.

His motto is “What’s my father’s is mine” which irks some of his viewers. He likes to show off his wealth by driving around town in cars that have personalized license plates.

Some of these cars have been reported to have been vandalized and one he claims to have been set on fire because of pure jealousy. It’s because of his behaviour that Lord Aleem receives various criticisms and sometimes hate but regardless of that, he still owns a vast collection of cars that can’t fit in this article.

Tim Burton - Shmee150

YouTuber Shmee150 or Tim Burton, was one of the original car spotters. In time, his channel has grown thanks to certain connections. It now features road trips and behind-the-scene coverage of some of the most incredible cars.

Burton also has his own collection that includes a trio of blue cars – a Ferrari FF, Porsche Cayman GT4, and a McLaren 675LT. There’s also his upcoming purple 675LT Spider. Burton isn’t exactly a rags-to riches kind of guy, but he was able to take his channel to incredible heights because of his hardwork and of course, some good investments.

Kyle Lindsey - SaabKyle04

Another person in our list is Kyle Lindsey, owner of YouTube channel SaabKyle04. He is a devout car enthusiast who in turn shares his passion for cars through his YouTube channel.

He gives walkthroughs and takes you to test drives while reviewing them. He has a modest collection of cars that includes a Dodge Charger, Ford Fairlane, Chevy Avalanche, and Mini Cooper S. His wife also owns a Thunderbird.

Jay Leno - Jay Leno’s Garage

Last on our list is the former host of NBC’s “The Tonight Show”, Jay Leno. He has recently been busy with his YouTube show, the “Jay Leno’s Garage” now that he has retired from his late night show. Leno has a wide collection of vehicles – over 160 cars and more than 117 motorcycles.

The most popular among his collection include a McLaren P1 and F1, an LLC Rocket, a Lamborghini Miura and Countach, a Chrysler Turbine Car and a Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic.
