With the collapse of its regional distributor, GM will be halting sales of the Cadillac in more than half of its markets in Europe. Kroymans Import Europe, was one of four companies that was suspended by Kroymans Corp after a court order authorized its request to halt debt payments. 3,500 units of Cadillac, Corvette and Hummer vehicles will be sequestered by court-appointed administrators from 165 dealers this Monday. Currently GM is working out a new distribution scheme with Kroymans Corp which involves the transfer of Cadillac sales to dealers of GM in Europe. Sales in the UK will remain as usual since GM directly distributes Cadillac, Corvette and Hummer vehicles. Last year, the sales of Cadillac in Europe fell by 5 percent, Hummer came down 1.8 percent and 15.3 percent for the Corvette.
