Cadillac customers will love the carmaker’s new program called Cadillac Shield that ties together the wide-ranging benefits and technologies that Cadillac offers its owners. The program is meant to intensify the brand’s focus on customer service. Included in this program are Cadillac’s class-leading warranty coverage, its newly launched maintenance program, and courtesy transportation (if warranty repairs are required). The program also provides 24-hour roadside assistance for the first five years or 100,000 miles.
Don Butler, vice president of Cadillac marketing, said that Cadillac provides a collection of ownership benefits that enables it to maintain its lead in luxury market. Butler added that Cadillac Shield is intended to raise consumer awareness of these benefits. It also shows Cadillac’s commitment to its customers to determine ways to improve these services and technologies. All new owners as well as previous buyers of 2011 models will become part of the Cadillac Shield.
The Cadillac Shield offers ownership benefits including Cadillac Premium Care Maintenance, which provides scheduled oil changes, tire rotations, multi-point vehicle inspections and replacement of engine and cabin air filters for the first four years or 50,000 miles. It also offers five-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty; four-year, 50,000-mile vehicle bumper-to-bumper warranty coverage; and 24/7 roadside assistance for the first five years or 100,000 miles. It also provides courtesy transportation during service visits for warranty issues.
