Cadillac will showcase numerous 2011 models to the Paris Auto Show, including the CTS Coupe, CTS Sport Wagon, CTS-V Sedan, CTS-V Coupe SRX Crossover and the Escalade Hybrid. Cadillac is set to debut its European operations with a fresh dealer network, consisting of about 40 dealers in key European markets. Cadillac has also established a pan-European network to manage its maintenance and servicing operations.
The new 564hp CTS-V Coupe will make its European debut in Paris and will start selling in Europe in 2011. Meanwhile, the 2011 CTS Sport Wagon, which uses direct injected 3.0l and 3.6l V6 petrol units, is currently offered in Europe.
The SRX crossover receives a new design and is equipped with a 3.0 liter V6 direct injection powerplant. Cadillac asserts that the fuel economy of the vehicle is similar to that of a mid-size family car. Wolfgang Schubert, Managing Director of Cadillac Europe, said that the company has “made huge progress” since the announcement of the new activities in Europe at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. Schubert said that Cadillac’s “strong product line” in Paris is proof that the brand will continue to be a serious competitor in the premium market.
