The most extreme variant of its T1 track-day hypercar was recently unveiled by Caparo. It is powered by a boosted 620bhp variant of the standard vehicle's 3.5-liter V8 (with 575bhp), providing the hypercar a remarkable power-weight ratio of 1127bhp/ton (a rise from 1050bhp/ton). For the sake of comparison, an Ariel Aton Supercharged comes with only 650 bhp/ton. Stopping power on the Caparo T1 Race Extereme are 355mm diameter carbon-ceramic brakes equipped with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-piston calipers at the back. The calipers are made from machined aluminum, and the pistons are from magnesium. The Caparo T1 Race Extreme also comes with a fully adaptable aerodynamic and suspension package, an ECU that can be re-tuned providing the user with adaptable throttle mapping and gearshift speeds capabilties.
