Carlsson C25 makes its debut ahead of Geneva Motor Show
As you may know already, Carlsson announced earlier this month its first sports car dubbed C25 and prior to the Geneva Motor Show, the German tuning company unveiled its latest masterpiece.
The front view of the car is described by dynamic and aggressive trapezoid shapes with giant air inlets, typical for Carlsson. The side view confirms the fact that we are looking at a car with classic GT-proportions with a front central engine. The rear view, beside the fact that it looks damn impressive, has a highly visible aerodynamic functionality. The design is completed by the ultra-light and forged wheels 1/10 UL in the dimensions 9,5×20 and 12×20 inches especially designed for the C25.Continued after the jump!
In fact, the whole car has been designed in order to make it very stable at very high speeds. Why is that? Because the vehicle carries a V12 Biturbo engine capable to deliver 753 hp (554 kW) and a maximum torque of 1320 Newton metres, electronically limited to 1150 Newton metres.
With these numbers, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds while the top speed is electronically limited 352 km/h (218 mph). For perfect travel comfort, the Carlsson C25 offers all safety- and assistance systems which fulfil the high Mercedes-Benz standards: ABS, ESP, Airbags, crash-behaviour and pedestrian protection.
If you like this car than you’d better hurry and order it, because Carlsson intends to build only 25 units of the C25. No words about the price yet!
