2010 Cadillac SRX Crossover coming to Detroit

It was revealed today by Cadillac its subsequent generation 2010 SRX Crossover, highlighting a totally brand new design and more-economical, modern powerplant options. The latest SRX is a mid-size luxury crossover showcasing in the North American International Auto Show in the following week. “The all-new SRX is a fresh and compelling crossover aimed squarely at the priorities of luxury buyers,” explained Mark McNabb, North America vice president, Cadillac/Premium Channel. “With new technologies for increased efficiency and safety, the redesigned 2010 SRX Crossover focuses on both the emotional and pragmatic sides of the luxury consumer.”
Designed for economical performance, the 2010 SRX, with the option of two modern 6-cylinder powerplant that are innovative to Cadillac – the least-displacement powerplants it makes available in North America. The latest, 3.0-Liters direct injected V-6 unit is regular and a fresh, 2.8-Liter turbocharged V-6 is an option. Both powerplants utilize technology that assists in producing powerful performance that is characteristic of larger-displacement powerplants. Direct injection permits a 25-percent lowering of hydrocarbon emissions. Efficiency in fuel utilization in the mid-20s on the highway is amc, but testing has not yet reached completion.
