Slammer Scion xB by Louie Contreras

Slammer Scion xB by Louie ContrerasAlthough the SEMA Show ended last week we have a special car for you, the special Slammer Scion xB. Built by Louie Contreras, the vehicle represents a transformation from an ordinary Scion xB into a Boneville Salt Flats racer.

In order to do this Contreras modified the height of the vehicle by chopping some portions (6.5″ raked chop top), added a rear wing spoiler, a parachute (used for stopping the car) and new aluminium hubcaps while under the hood we find a new TRD supercharger in order to increase the power of the engine. Of course, the most important thing is the two-door conversion of the vehicle which transforms it into a real racer.Other highlights represents the Reshaped roof and shaved rail, the blue Lexan windows, the aluminium dash, Kirkey racing seat and the L-Con Racecars roll cage. Ultimate Nascar Fan Sienna RampvanThe Ultimate NASCAR Fan Sienna Rampvan revealed at the annual SEMA Show highlights the same widespread vehicle changes found on other Sienna Rampvans offering exceptional wheelchair access, along with a host of new properties perfect for the keen NASCAR fan.

Built by BraunAbility, the Sienna NASCAR Fan Rampvan is outfitted with detachable passenger seats with wheelchair tie-down points for up to three wheelchairs, a fully lowered floor, foldout ramp and an inventive “kneeling” rear suspension, all designed to provide unequalled access for wheelchair and scooter users.

The floor has been effectively lowered by 11-inches, lowering the ramp angle and permitting the deployment onto curbs, making it easier to enter and exit the vehicle while increasing interior headroom. The 30-inch-wide power ramp has three conveniently located control switches, emergency door-ramp release and anti-skid ramp coating. Extending the ramp requires only five seconds after the power sliding side door is fully open. Photos after the jump!

2008 SEMA: Volkswagen Passat CC Gold Coast Edition

Vw Passat CC Gold Coast EditionAfter the Super CC Performance Concept, Volkswagen brought another vehicle to the SEMA Show: the CC Gold Coast Edition. Based on the same Passat CC, the vehicle features a new tri-coat paint, a new front lip spoiler, new side sills, small but stylish rear trunk spoiler and a new set of 19-inch Lugano alloy wheels.

At the interior the vehicle comes with four ergonomically formed sport seats wrapped in luxurious leather a combination of Latte Macchiatto, Cornsilk with Bronze Piping on the seats with matching accents on the dash and door trim.

Under the hood, the 3.6-liter V6 engine develops 280 hp and 360 Nm of torque and is connected to a DSG double-clutch 6-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic. In order to stop the car in time, Vw added also a new set of R8 Ceramic brakes while for a better stability a new Kw coil over suspension has been installed. Pricing of the vehicle will be under $27,000 or €21,100. Photos after the jump!

Nissan Altima Hybrid by Braille BatteryBraille Battery composed this extreme Altima Hybrid to advertise hybrid technology and alternative fuel use. The E85-powered Nissan Altima utilizes an electric supercharger to support the heavily modified drivetrain.

The vehicle is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine which combined with the electric motor develops an impressive 440 hp. Race-style interior improvements and an eco-oriented paint theme rounded off the long list of alterations. “We were very honored that Nissan North America chose to select our battery company to build and power this forward thinking race car”, said Ray Ferriera, Brand Manager for Braille Battery. Dodge Ram Mopar Street PackageOK, we had the Dodge Ram Sportsman, the Dodge Ram TRXtreme and the Dodge Ram R/T by Mopar Underground. Now, last but never a bit the least, is the Ram Mopar Street Package which is patterned after the Ram Sport.

The exterior underlines a Blackberry paint and a Mopar body kit composed of a front lip spoiler, new side sills and a rear lip spoiler, large 22-inch polished Alcoa forged wheels and a new aggressive aluminum hood with two big air inlets.The stylish theme is brought also into the interior with surround lighting and leather seats trimmed with high quality piping and stitching. Toyota Yaris Club Concept by Five Axis

Toyota Yaris Club Concept by Five AxisAfter the Lexus GS460 and the Toyota Venza AS V, Five Axis brought another vehicle at the SEMA Show: the Toyota Yaris Club Concept, a tribute to the Toyota 7 that challenged the Group 7 category of Can-Am racing back in 1960s.

As you can see the car has been seriously customized as it follows: the roof was totally removed and the windshield lowered, the interior was removed too as well as the passenger seat, a tonneau (a bed cover for a pickup truck) was added as well as a driver headrest. Also a new body kit was installed consisting in a front and rear Toyota JDM Vitz RS bumpers, a rear taillight and fog light as well as a Toyota Vitz front bumper cover. Under the hood the vehicle received a TRD/TTE Supercharger with cold air intake boosting the engine from 106 hp to 166 hp, a DC Sports tuner header and a TRD radiator and oil cap.
