2008 SEMA Show: Tjin Edition Pontiac G8 CST

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

Tjin Edition Pontiac G8 CSTBe sure that the most exceedingly altered Pontiacs in November’s SEMA Show will not be a General Motors (GM) sanctioned offering although the car should provide major backing for the ailing car manufacturer and could even enhance interest in the tuning stage for one of its top models. The car is a completely modified 2009 Pontiac G8 fabricated and refurbished by the tuner on the rise, Neil Tjin.

For those who are unacquainted with Tjin’s earlier works, the West Coast designer has created several of high-performance Japanese cars including a R34 Skyline sedan equipped with a RB26DETT GT-R engine as well as a carbon-fiber covered 240SX.

The most recent construction of Tjin, called the G8 CST(In honor of Neil and Mei’s first baby boy Collin Samuel Tjin), is built in conjunction with California’s Unique Fabrication and highlights a unique Webasto twin-vent sunroof. The exterior of the car will be done in a PPG blue-gray paint schema and the interior will feature diamond-stitched two-tone leather and an over-the-top Focal audio system.
