Performance and styling are two factors that the German tuners at Hamann focused on for its latest project – the BMW X6 M program. It is expected to debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show.
Powering the Hamann Tycoon Evo M is a modified engine that provides up to 670 hp (493 kW) from 555 hp and 850 Nm torque between 1,500 and 5,650 rpm, up from the initial 679 Nm. Due to the ECU recalibration and limiter removal, the SUV gets to a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). This compares favorably to initial figures of 249 km/h (155 mph). The technical modifications include sport catalysts, intermediate pipe with x-venturi and a sport rear muffler with four tailpipes. Also featured on the Hamann X6M are an upgraded suspension system that reduces the ride height by 40mm. The exterior styling features refer to an aerodynamic package that boasts of a changed spoiler, bigger side panels, 22 or 23-inch wheels and strategically mounted LEDs. On the interior, we see aluminum pedals, new steering wheel, sports seats made of leather, custom floormats and several other accessories. Photo gallery after the jump!
