Caterham announces test dates for SP/300.R sports prototype

Caterham Cars has revealed the details of the first schedules regarding the dates that customers can get their hands on the latest SP/300.R sports prototype. Those who have placed their orders will be prioritized on the booking slots. Afterwards, those who have registered an interest with the company will be offered one of the strictly limited drives. Since its launching last January on the Autosport International, 14 Caterham-Lola SP/300.Rs of the 25 units that will be rolled out this year were acquired quickly.
Those who want to book a test drive during one of the scheduled dates may call 01883 333700 or 01455 841616. According to Caterham Motorsport Manager Simon Lambert, there has been a “huge amount of interest” in the vehicle since it was unveiled. He is confident that people will see the vehicle as “everything they expect and more.”
The SP/300.R will be assembled in a newly-equipped plant near the company’s existing Dartford factory. In this way, the manufacturing team can work alongside the Caterham’s main engineering base.
