Chevrolet Aveo enters the Mongol Rally adventure of more than 9,000 miles

Chevrolet Aveo Mongol Rally

Children’s charities are the beneficiaries of the adventure that a Chevrolet Aveo will take on July 14 as it leaves the Goodwood motor circuit to get to the Mongol Rally adventure. The Aveo's FIRST Mongol Rally Team will go on a no-backup, no support, no-set-route adventure of over 9,000 miles. The 1.2L Aveo small car will have to move past obstacles like mountains, deserts, awful roads, no roads, and even bandits. The Aveo will be driven by a rally team with not much experience or car knowledge. The three members in the rally team are composed of Guy White (an experienced marketing manager), Ed Kliphuis (an investment banker), and Arnout Schepers (developmental biology researcher). Guy White said that he considers it a “perfect combination” to drive through a third of the world, meet amazing people, and stock memories. It was three years ago that the team first met on a rugby field in Geneva. They’re collecting donations for SOS Children's Villages in Mongolia where the Aveo will also be donated. They also hope to promote interaction opportunities for this good cause. For more information, visit indiegogo.com/10000mileMongolRally.
