Chevrolet dealer asking over $60,000 for a Volt

Although GM announced last week that the Chevrolet Volt will be priced from $41,000 ($33,500 net of the full federal tax credit, which ranges from $0-$7,500) including a destination freight charge of $720, it appears that dealers will decide the final price of the vehicle. In an attempt to find the real price of the Volt, researchers from Edmunds sent an email to a local Chevrolet dealer to see which will be the final price of the car.
You'll be amazed, but the dealer said that their asking price for the Volt will be the MSRP ($41,000) plus and extra $20,000.
This means over $60k for a Chevrolet Volt, which is hilarious. Apparently, the dealer said that it is asking this price because only 9 Volts will be received all of next year. This doesn't explain the price though!
