Now there’s no reason not to consider a Chevy as it now comes with its latest mind-blowing promotion dubbed “Total Confidence Pricing." General Motors Co. wants to appeal to new buyers and to do that, it is prepared to give a full refund to consumers who bought a new 2012 or 2013 model year Chevrolet and were not pleased with their purchase. But they’d have to do make the return within 60 days. In addition, Chevrolet is offering lower pricing on all 2012s on top of the older incentives. Chevrolet has implemented a simple, no-haggle price on its entire range. What Chevrolet wants is to increase sales amid the transition to the 2013 MY.
It wants new consumers to consider buying a Chevy; it also hopes to improve the long-term image of the brand. Chevrolet was able to increase its U.S. market share in 2010 and 2011 but this year, the numbers have declined. Nonetheless, sales have increased by 6% in June while the market grew 15%. GM said that this new promotion lasts until September 4. Under the promotion, the vehicle can be returned and the customer is given a refund of the purchase price and sales tax if it has no damage and was only driven for shorter than 4,000 miles.
This refund offer, which is valid between 31 and 60 days after delivery, doesn’t cover costs like non-GM accessories, finance charges, extended warranties, or license fees. In a statement, Chris Perry, Chevrolet's vice president of marketing, said that the guarantee lessens drivers' worries about buying a new vehicle. Perry also said that the company’s research shows that consumers get reassurance of the product’s quality and peace of mind when they know that they could return the unit.
