Chevy Spark to use Reva’s technology

It is said that sometimes, a reputed face of an industry can rise a business or knock it down to ashes with just some public words. It is the case of Reva, the Indian electric car producer, which had the bad luck of coming across with the automotive guru, Jeremy Clarkson, who didn’t have quite laudative comments about them.
But this made them even stronger, and now they are ready to reveal two brand new models. Moreover, it is almost a certainty that they will be the official supplier of GM India in terms of drivetrain components required for electrifying the Chevy Spark. It will take just one approval from the headquarters and we will probably witness the first joint venture of an GM sub-continent subsidiary since its bankruptcy issues. If they should close the deal GM will start delivering a new Spark version from 2010, hopefully a with a better design than the re-worked Daweoo Matiz lookalike as it has at the moment.
