Chicago Auto Show: 2009 Nissan Cube Krom unveiled

It was lately announced by Nissan that the brand new Cube minicar will be available for sale in the US this may with a $13,990 sticker price. The car comes with a 122hp (91kW) 1.8-liter inline 4-cylinder powerplant that can be combined with a selection of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a 6-speed manual transmission. The estimated EPA fuel economy rating has not yet been released by Nissan but it offered that it is expected to do better than 30mpg on the highway with the CVT-equipped version.
Considering the usual connection between CVTs, autos and manuals, figures are expected to be quite similar with the 6-speed version also.There will be four kind of Cube to be offered for sale, designated as follows: Cube 1.8, Cube 1.8 S, Cube 1.8 SL, and the Cube 1.8 Krom. Moreover, the Cube will also be offered with more than 40 accessories including a special 20-color interior lighting package and 'shag carpeting' instrument panel inserts, aero body kits, bespoke 16-inch aluminum rims, and many more.
The top of the line Krom version is distinguished by numerous special highlights consisting of 3-bar grill in chrome, 2-bar front bumper grill in chrome, totally integrated front and rear faces, body side sills, special roof spoiler at the rear, and exclusive 16-inch alloy wheels.The interior comes with Bluetooth hands-free, steering wheel clothed in leather, uprated audio system with 6 speakers and a subwoofer from Rockford Fosgate, pedals in aluminum and titanium trim highlights.
