Chrysler hires Publicis Groupe’s Fallon as ad agency

Publicis Groupe's Fallon is working on new commercials for the Chrysler brand, according to a letter sent by Olivier Francois, the CEO of the Chrysler and Lancia brands. For years, Omnicom Group's BBDO had handled the creative work for the brand but Fallon now has the assignment and is set to start airing the commercials this year. Previously, Fallon had handled the BMW account but in 2005, the account was terminated, punctuating the end of a decade-long relationship that is famous for the popular BMW Films branded-entertainment project.
