Chrysler offering incentives to lure Toyota owners

Despite Chrysler Group CEO Sergio Marchionne previously stating that it will not offer any special deals to entice Toyota customers, it appears that it has backtracked on that statement. Starting Friday, Chrysler offered owners of the Toyota Tundra, Tacoma and Sienna an additional $1,000 trade-in bonus cash or lease on any Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram truck. In addition, Chrysler will offer $1,000 bonus cash for all returning Toyota lessees who purchase or lease a new Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge or Ram.
